Recently, the Chief Science Officer of the Indian Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) Research Center paid a special visit to Yocell’s TFF (Tangential Flow Filtration) manufacturing facility for an inspection and exchange of expertise. As the only professional laboratory conducting DMD clinical trials in India, the center boasts an outstanding industry influence and authority in the field of DMD research across South Asia.

Tailored to the client’s actual application requirements, the Yocell team designed a dedicated product training program for them, elaborated on the key equipment operation points in detail, and demonstrated the operation process and performance advantages of the Yocell EliteFlow P3 automatic TFF system on-site.

Notably, this system is capable of efficiently performing diafiltration processes for micro-samples as small as 15 mL, which addresses the core pain point of the visiting client in their DMD research. Previously, the client required 14 hours to complete this step using the traditional dialysis bag method in the laboratory, while the EliteFlow P3 shortens the time to just 2 hours, significantly boosting experimental efficiency.

The visiting experts highly praised the Yocell TFF system for its outstanding automation, stable performance and user-friendly operation design, and confirmed the on-site procurement of the Yocell EliteFlow P3 to support core R&D in their DMD research lab. Both sides share the expectation that this partnership will strongly advance the development of DMD therapies and unlock new breakthroughs for rare disease treatment.
