High shear homogenisers are suitable for a wide range of tasks from sample preparation to formulation studies and can be used as pre-treatment equipment for experimental high pressure homogenisers. The motor-driven rotor rotates at high speed and the sample is homogenised or dispersed through the gap between the rotor and the stator, usually in a short time.
