Dr. Hemant Borgaonkar, Technical Consultant of LABINDIA ( India ) , recently paid a special visit to Yocell's factory to conduct an on-site inspection of Yocell's protein purification system ( FPLC ) manufacturing base. The two parties held a dedicated meeting on the technical performance, application scenarios, and cooperation directions of FPLC equipment, and reached a preliminary consensus on cooperation in the Indian market.
LABINDIA is a well-known laboratory instrument and solution provider in India, with an extensive channel network and industry influence in analytical instruments, life science equipment, and other fields. As its Technical Consultant, Dr. Hemant Borgaonkar has long been engaged in the technical evaluation and market promotion of downstream bioprocessing equipment. This visit aimed to gain an in-depth understanding of Yocell's product R&D and manufacturing capabilities in the field of protein purification, laying the foundation for future cooperation between the two parties.
During the visit, Dr. Hemant Borgaonkar toured Yocell's production workshop and product display area, with a focus on the technical features and configuration options of Yocell's NExTract series protein purification system ( FPLC ) . The Yocell technical team provided detailed explanations of core modules, including the system pump, mixer, injection valve, column valve, UV detector, conductivity/temperature detector, pH detector, and fraction collector, and demonstrated the operation process of the software system on-site.
The Yocell NExTract series protein purification system features a modular design with flexible expansion capabilities, meeting the diverse scale requirements from laboratory R&D to pilot-scale scale-up. The system is equipped with a high-precision titanium alloy plunger pump, offering excellent biocompatibility and corrosion resistance. The integrated valve design effectively minimizes the overall delay volume in the flow path. The pH valve supports multiple flow path schemes. The software system integrates DOE functionality to assist users in experimental design and process optimization. In addition, the system complies with relevant regulations such as FDA 21 CFR, GLP, and GMP, and features multi-user permission management, data backup, and traceability functions, meeting the stringent requirements of the biopharmaceutical industry for data security and compliance.
During the meeting discussion, the two parties conducted in-depth exchanges on cooperation details, including the application prospects of FPLC equipment in the Indian market, technical training, and after-sales support. Dr. Hemant Borgaonkar spoke highly of the automation level, stable performance, and user-friendly operation of Yocell's protein purification system, and stated that LABINDIA will fully leverage its channel advantages and technical service capabilities in the Indian market to promote the application of Yocell FPLC equipment in India's biopharmaceutical and life science sectors.
Yocell stated that since its establishment in 2016, the company has always focused on biopharmaceutical downstream process solutions, with products sold to global markets including Europe, North America, South America, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Russia. The preliminary cooperation consensus reached with LABINDIA marks an important step for Yocell in further expanding into the Indian market. In the future, the two parties will engage in deeper cooperation around technical support, market promotion, and customer service for FPLC equipment, jointly contributing to the high-quality development of India's biopharmaceutical industry.
